Attend lab every week for Basic Data Structures and Algorithms course at MSU to assist students in completing projects, programs, and other assignments. Lab section was 2 hours a week but would also help students outside of this time as needed. The goal was to assist students in understanding course material and guide them to completing projects without giving direct solutions.

Built an automated drip irrigation system for the college's greenhouse. Soldered a circuit board to plug into an Arduino that ran soil sensors. Based on readings from sensors, a valve was occasionally opened to allow water to flow to plants. Built a prototype prior to full-scale integration. The college was still using this system in their greenhouse the last time I was in the area, a couple of years after project completion.

Was a science intern at Chief Dull Knife College. During this time I taught other interns basics in programming with Arduinos using C++, worked on small robotics projects, participated in a large Eclipse ballooning project, and participated in the NASA RockOn! Workshop. During the NASA Workshop, I worked with a small team to build a payload that collected data from a sounding rocket as it entered space. The team assembled and soldered a circuit board with sensors and other data collection devices to be integrated with an Arduino.
