The owner and I also setup worked and tore down all shows we attended. Wore many hats at this job too many in fact to ever get good at any of them.

Initially I worked in shop as a Hydraulics Mechanic in the Ankeny Ia. branch. We repaired and overhauled aerial basket lifts, hydraulic truck mounted cranes, digger derricks for setting power and telephone poles. At the time I was factory trained to work on Telelect,High Ranger, Pitman, Reach All, National Crane and many others. I was later given the Nebraska area for doing field service work in that area.

I worked as a traveling field service rep checking warranty claims and making field repairs. At that time we manufactured turbo charger kits for farm tractors after market. Piston and sleeve sets for overhauls on farm tractors. We also sold and I serviced dynamometers for checking horse power on those tractors. M&W also sold other farm products including grain dryers that I serviced in the fall wagons and grain carts. I also helped set up work and tear down at the farm shows.
