Responsibilities:• Prepare monthly financial reports and cashflows for Board of Directors for Playcorp P/L which is a wholesale/distribution company with 100+ employees and annual turnover of $40m+• Analyse key financial data and KPIs within the company, ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information• Business improvement role for Global Retail Brands which is retail homewares stores House and Robins Kitchen across Australia. There are 700+ employees and annual turnover of $80m+.• Prepare foreign exchange expenditure reports and assist in the preparation of purchases offoreign exchange contracts• Review performance against budgets and prepare variation, control and statistical reports• Participate in developing financial models to improve planning and budgeting • Preparation of BAS, ABS & FBT returns as they fall due. • Ensure accounting activities comply with relevant legal, professional and ethical standards • Liaise with external auditors on accounting procedures and records for two companies • Develop, manage and mentor staff and team members in the finance team being three accounts payable and two assistant accountants. • Liaising with intercompany accountants for group consolidated reporting

Responsibilities: • Preparation and uploading of monthly financial and statistical information for the entire Pacific region. • Maintain and improve HFM upload models for Actuals, Forecast and Budget templates. • Manage Cook Islands entity accounting. • Assist in the completion of the variance analysis to budget and forecast for month, YTD, Quarterly, half yearly and year end reporting. • Assist in the preparation and submission of annual budgets and five-year strategic plans. • Completion of all Oracle based Balance Sheet reconciliations including stock reconciliations, other assets, receivables, accruals and provision accounts on a monthly basis. • Managing the reporting and forecasting spreadsheets and ensure data integrity is maintained. • Working closely with the Senior Management Accountants (Australia, Supply & Pacific), as well as the Planning & Analysis team, assist with the implementation of reporting database modifications and improvements. • Prepare final Profit & loss, Balance sheets and Trial Balances for all BU on a monthly basis. • Prepare and review month end business reports for Exec, HSE & Finance, including accruals, forecasts and budgets.

Responsibilities: • Ensuring the team’s goals and deadlines are met and assisting team members with areas of difficulty and mentoring staff. • Creating Budgeting templates for departments to populate and create forecast models. • Preparing specific job costing analysis to determine profit or loss outcomes on particular aspects of the business. • Liaising with Managers and staff from other divisions and assisting them with their needs from the Finance department to meet service level agreements. • Responsible for the monthly accruals and prepayment journals. • Processing of fortnightly payroll. • The completion of a weekly report for the General Manager of Finance which outlines the team’s performance and reports any issues, and measures performance against the team’s KPI’s. • Organising staff rosters and ensuring all staff are adequately trained across a large variety of accounting functions.
