I am an experienced Commercial and Event Photographer with an excellent commercial, studio, wedding and celebration photography portfolio which I have developed over several years working in the field. I also have a wide range of knowledge and expertise, outside of photography, having worked in social housing for over a decade I have a keen understanding of the broad issues affecting those in social housing and those in need of housing assistance; having managed housing schemes directed at supporting those with substance misuse issues, mental health issues as well as young homeless and older housing. Because of my experience I have excellent insight into the benefits systems, as well as risk assessment and safe working practices of lone working. I have delivered training and coaching using my skills and knowledge of both photography and housing as well as other bespoke courses on varied topics such as astronomy, engineering for kids, support plan creation & management and computer coding. I have also co-created a pre-tenancy training course. Outside of Event and Celebration Photography I am interested in getting involved in projects, related to both photography and training, which have a positive impact on communities; to this end I have become involved in the Yorkshire Schools Dance Festival, Gymfusion Darlington Dance Festival all on an ongoing basis and am working with training providers on pre-tenancy training development.
