Following a very successful career as a highly effective Head of School at the University of Sunderland I have stepped down to set up my own company Watts Coaching and Consulting Limited. During my time at the university I achieved Grade 1 Outstanding from OFSTED for leadership of the University's secondary teacher training programmes, as well as consistently gaining the highest student overall satisfaction ratings in the University from the National Student Survey, with a three year mean of 96%. These excellent outcomes are achieved through inspirational leadership of staff and students and diligent management of data and resources. In 2017 all three English programmes achieved 100% student satisfaction and in 2018 the School of Culture was nominated for a City of Sunderland STARS Award in the Outstanding Partnership category. Drawing upon my experiences of coaching and mentoring, as well as training coaches and mentors and setting up coaching and mentoring schemes Watts Coaching and Mentoring offers individuals and organisations the opportunity to achieve their goals and ambitions through structured support from a highly skilled and experienced coach.
