Next Rail is an alliance that in partnership with Jacobs is delivering a diverse program of Rail Systems work for TfNSW as a part of the More Trains More Services (MTMS) program.My role is a diverse Leadership role that includes the following:• The project delivery lead for the DC Feeders project as a part of MTMS2• Project Specialist in Pre contracts for Transmission and pumped Hydro projects • Project Director for the HV grid connection and bus depot EV Charging conversion to operate an electric bus fleet of approx. 600 buses across three depotsI provide strategic leadership to the team while focussing on risk, customer relationships, stakeholder management as well as excellent finance performance on each project. I enjoy the multi-discipline nature of the scope being delivered and, possibly most importantly, the opportunity to coach and mentor the team and develop them into a very high performing team.

The Rail Power Systems Team is a strategic part of the Infrastructure and Technology business for UGL enabling a complete Rail Systems capability offering. I have developed this team from having one in flight project and strategically hired specialists and focused on team capability. The team capability includes: -• OHW traction wiring• Transmission HV feeders• Substation Installation• DC Switchgear manufacturing• High Rail Plant Management with AEO and RSO accreditation. I have full BU accountability from setting the strategy and objectives to developing and maintaining an accurate forward work plan. As a newly created business for UGL I have been required to deal with uncertainty and challenges both internally and externally. I have had to influence the UGL Executive via business case submissions and within governance processes to invest in people and plant, use major projects to support utilisation to effectively fund the inception of the second biggest traction OHW in Australia and I gained approval for the capital investment of $2.4M in specialised High Rail Plant and equipment.External challenges have been rebranding and building relationships nationally. UGL has been in this market at different times in different states but have either withdrawn as workflows stopped or they haven’t performed well. My role in Business development has been to ensure that UGL has the capability to deliver but once awarded work, ensure that UGL does meet its promises and becomes a trusted delivery partner. II manage interfaces across different businesses within UGL. The team has become a consultancy for other parts of the business including Major projects, Operations and Maintenance and Manufacturing business. We support as Subject Matter Experts. A key feature of this team is its ability to Integrate with the wider Rail Systems business to deliver multidisciplinary projects.

Leading the power team in the transport sector for UGL.

Responsible for interfacing with the conceptual design and delivering the Linewide Procurement for the City and Southwest stages of the Sydney Metro project.

I manage a team of Project Managers and Project Engineers that deliver projects that are a part of TfNSW Power Supply Upgrade (PSU) on the rail network. These projects are delivered by the NovoRail Alliance and a part of my role is to manage that relationship and work closely with the Alliance to continue to complete projects with safety, quality, schedule and value for money as key deliverables.

Delivering Peak Resource Distribution Overhead Construction Projects as a part of the PMO. My role is as a Team Leader of three other Project Managers and a team of Contract Inspectors as well as managing the delivery of my own Projects

My role is a part of the Energised Alliance in delivering HV substation projects for the Ausgrid Transmission Network. The projects involve both brownfield and greenfield work. The projects also vary from being combinations of construct only civil, electrical equipping and commissioning packages or full D&C turnkey projects.

Managed the site works and project management of two brownfield HV substation projects to 330kV.

High Voltage Substation construction including a 330/132kV D&C project.Project Management for both greenfield and brownfield projects constructing High Voltage substations. For all projects the Project Manager held complete budget responsibility which included forecasting a cost to complete and monthly reporting. Managed 4 projects at once including High Voltage Substation 330/132kV D&C project over $25M.
