Weitzel has over 25 years technical and business development experience in FDA regulated industry in engineering, manufacturing, process validation and technical marketing. He is a pharmaceutical process engineer and a recognized subject matter expert on risk-based process validation, as well as development and validation of cleaning and microbial contamination control for FDA regulated facilities and life sciences. This includes experience with sterile and non-sterile drug dosage forms, APIs, biologics, devices and combination products, consumer products, and emerging natural/nutritionals and dietary supplements. He has consulted and conducted technical training for professionals in the world's leading pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetic and medical device companies He has worked in primarily in North America and Europe, but has also worked in India, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran, UAE, Egypt and Southeast Asia and is familiar with all types of firm type, size and corporate structure.He has combined technical innovation with business innovation and financial and marketing analysis to launch several new business groups and product lines providing the expertise and the hand-on sales and promotion support. Two current examples of technical and business innovation are applications of the Novaflux two-phase flow process to dramatically reduce water and waste in industrial flow cleaning by 90%; and use of Vapor /Dry Fog process to use small amounts of EPA approved sterilant to safely eliminate microorganisms in manufacturing and research facilities, but also for the first time in public places such as schools, hospitals, gyms, nursing homes, and public transportation and airlines.
