In 2005, I founded Steve Whyte Associates which in 2009 became Union Merchant Services Inc. The company signed hundreds of low risk merchants as our clients until 2012 when we recognized a serious need for high risk merchants needing a merchant account. Since then, we have boarded hundreds of CBD merchants and other high risk industries. With a network of both domestic banks and processors and an international partnership with some of the biggest processors and providers in Europe, we were able to secure merchant accounts for hundreds of merchants who would not normally be able to accept credit cards because of their business type. Two years ago we targeted the CBD and Cannabis industries and have contracted with major U.S. banks to provide merchant accounts to online and brick and mortar CBD merchants. We recently added a domestic provider so that dispensaries can accept all major credit cards solutions for their customers at low rates. With a 98% approval rate, we have become the go to company that other merchant service providers come to for their High Risk, CBD and Cannabis clients.
