I run Greenprint, a print management company specialising in environmentally responsible printing. We hold ISO14001 and manage printing on behalf of our clients, using carefully selected suppliers covering the complete spectrum of printing techniques and formats. As well as running Greenprint, I was the freelance project manager for PrintIT!, the schools-based initiative run by Proskills UK. I left after five successful years and we delivered a print-centric teaching course and competition to over 100,000 students across more than 1,000 schools. I resigned due to restructuring at Proskills which resulted in the person who was the driving force behind PrintIT! since it began being made redundant. As freelance project manager I did not want to be the person to "plug the gap" following his departure so decided to leave the project, but being part of the award-winning team for five years was an honour and a privelege,

I have worked in the printing industry since 1978 and have experience in most printing techniques from small to large format litho, coldset and heatset web offset, letterpress, screen and digital. I have held board level posts for the past 20 years, in companies ranging from board game printing and packaging (inc. Trivial Pursuit) to security printing (Visa & APACS accredited) to commercial printing. These posts include Technical Director, Commercial Director, Business Development and Production Director. I started up a new company in 2004 with a friend and it has evolved into a specialist environmentally-managed print business (see current position).
