I’m fortunate to spend my time in areas I enjoy and with people/causes in which I believe, including: selected advisory projects; serving on the board of a Tech & data-enabled Health charity; mentoring young business leaders; and creative writing (something many ex-colleagues tell me I’ve been doing for years!).Before this and during my full-time business career, I built and led a variety of local & International Services businesses, the largest of which employed ~4,000 people and which I had the privilege of leading for 8 years. I also served on the local and regional leadership teams of the parent companies for 25+ years.As a consultant, my experience has been with large national and multi-national corporates, mainly in transformation-focused programmes, with clients in the Services, Telecommunications, Financial Services and Products sectors. I retired from Accenture in December 2019, after 15 years. During my final 3 years I ran Accenture’s Financial Services business in Australia/NZ, in addition to a growth-by-acquisition programme for APAC. Before that, as a member of the Growth Mkts LT, I was located in Hong Kong, leading the growth of Accenture's business with multinationals across APAC and re-positioning our brand - including acquisitions; a digital partnership with HK Rugby (always good when personal and professional interests align); and advising the CEOs of several prominent regional corporates on their transformation programmes. During that time I also led the global Client Account Lead development programme.Prior to HK and for 9 years, I ran one of Accenture’s global ‘mega-diamond’ clients, as well as the ANZ Communications, Media & Hi Tech sector.Before Accenture, I was a Partner with Deloitte Consulting, where I spent 13 years - consulting, building and running businesses which provided services to large corporates in multiple industries. In my last two years I served as ANZ Deputy CEO.I'm a Londoner by birth, have worked in Australia and across Asia for 35+ years and I call the beautiful city of Sydney home.
