Having worked for some of the Worlds largest power utilities in all aspects of Insurance and Risk Management I have established an independent risk consulting company. I have successful track record in all aspects of utility insurance and risk management, encompassing multi-national insurance programmes including being a Director of several captive insurance companies, major claims investigation and negotiation, contingent liability, business continuity and crisis planning, and development and construction projects.I have special interest in loss control and linking insurance company benchmarking to operational excellence and root cause analysis, an area that is not fully exploited and can benefit insured and insurers alike in mitigating the total cost of risk. The industries drive to carbon neutrality and consolidation of the industry has involved me in due diligence reviews of insurance risk arrangements in mergers acquisitions and disposals.
