I am responsible for expanding QTS' market share for railcar tracking and rail fleet management services in the Southwest.

Fuel manager is responsible for an annual fuel and rail transportation budget of $75 million and the disposal of all coal combustion products including ash and synthetic gypsum. Manages capital improvement projects for the plant’s cooling reservoir and ash handling systems. Supervises ash handling contactor and ash systems maintenance.

LBI is the third largest chemical company in the world. As a contract specialist, I was responsible for the negotiation of rail freight contracts worth $75 million per year and another $35 million in other rail expenditures including a fleet of 3500 leased, rail tank cars. Maintained SAP rail freight price and route tables. I was responsible for all liquid chemical transportation issues.

Contracted by a privately held rail equipment leasing company with a fleet valued at $20 million to expand their customer base.

Martin Marietta is the second largest producer of aggregates in North Americal. I was responsible for all railroad procurement activities in the Southwest and the administration of $40 million in annual rail freight payments. Managed a fleet of 3000 privately leased and railroad owned cars with a $10 million annual budget. Managed a rail traffic group of three individuals and the Alamo Gulf Coast Railroad (AGCR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Martin Marietta Materials with 10 rail crewmen, four locomotives and 10 miles of track. Primary rail supply chain consultant and negotiator for all business units.

QTS is a provider of railcar tracking and rail fleet management services. I was the on-site representative responsible for an $800,000 account supported by 10 customer service representatives. Primary consultant for all customer service and data transfer issues, software sales, and new service negotiations. Worked with multiple organizations to solve customer rail service issues. Successfully managed conversion of QTS' tracking system to work in conjunction with ExxonMobil's world-wide, SAP implementation.

NSK is the largest manufacturer of ball and roller bearings in the world. Managed five mechanical engineers servicing major original equipment manufacturers and distributors in the automotive and general industrial markets. Served as corporate lubrication and noise and vibration expert.
