I am Chief Executive of The BWB Group, a multi-disciplinary engineering, asset management and environmental consultancy with 5 UK offices. BWB is a fast-growing business with an established reputation and award-winning profile in the UK market and an embryonic presence in the international arena. In July 2017 BWB embarked on the next, and most exciting, phase of our evolution by becoming part of the CAF Group - a major player in the design, manufacture and maintenance of urban transportation projects across the globe. I am a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation, with over 40 years of varied and diverse experience, primarily in the engineering consultancy sector, having worked on numerous high-profile projects for major developer Clients.As a former Midlands Region Chairman at Association for Consultancy and Engineering I am passionate about the engineering profession and, in particular, the fundamental contribution that professional engineers play in planning, designing and delivering sustainable development. In an era of accelerating social, environmental and economic change, that demands more efficient infrastructure and a holistic approach to urban planning and regeneration of the UK's cities, it is vital that our profession applies its creativity and expertise to the delivery of appropriate, affordable and sustainable development.
