Self-funded the design, prototype and initial concept testing of the a novel temperature controlled RF device for aesthetics. In collaboration with NeuroTherm, the RFE-10-D product was developed and released to market in 2013 (acquired by Thermi.com) Steve and PHASE(n) continued to develop and still manufacture the ThermiVa and the Injectable RF product.

Virtual VP R&D, Quality Rep and manufacturing operations for this venture funded company in Connecticut. Transferred prototype design from a contract design shop to a local contract manufacturer. Solved and implemented many design improvements for functionality and cost reduction. Product was initially launched in 2014 and is being relaunch with these.

After years of consulting, developing and manufacturing products for this company focused on radio frequency products for pain management, joined NeuroTherm as VP R&D to accelerate development of a kyphoplasty product line; a major redesign and relaunch of a 4-lesion generator; and a line of radio frequency aesthetics products that were sold off to become.

R&D Manager: Built an R&D team and developed the CaverMap Surgical Aid (an intra-operative nerve stimulator used during radical prostatectomy surgery) from prototype through to market release.
