  I have spent nine years as the Head of the Plant Department and Kettering Workshops following 30 years working in various sections within the department gaining valuable experience and knowledge in operations including plant procurement, operations, quality, sustainability and health & safety and wellbeing.The department of highly skilled and competent staff and operatives have helped deliver a number of iconic projects such as the London Olympic stadium, Arsenal FC Emirates stadium and landmark buildings in London including Bloomberg HQ and Wimbledon LTA with a full range of plant from site accommodation to tower crane lifting solutions. We have a long established Safety Leadership Team which has driven changes and improvements in safety behaviour and accident prevention, celebrating a significant safety record.Working with our supply chain we provide our sites with the highest level of service through collaboration and long standing relationships with Service Level Agreements and Managed Services.Recent successes include the supply and erection of tower cranes at HS2 Align providing a unique service from design, fabrication and installation by our expert teams.The team has also helped deliver a fleet of Highways Traffic Management vehicles for a number of projects on behalf of Highways England and Highways Scotland including Gritters, Impact Protection Vehicles and Incident Support Units, increasing our experience and knowledge in providing the best solutions for our clients.All of the great work we have done provides our Projects with the best practical and commercial solution which benefits our clients and customers.Building individual performance and supporting our teams is key to our success as a department in working together and achieving success for the long term future of the business.
