As a result, a significantly enhanced strategic capability and operational readiness for the region was fulfilled which also mitigated against future skill fade in an up-and-coming area of interest.

Faced with the challenge of rapid mobilisation priority was focussed toward the team, ensuring they were always prepared for immediate action. During this period, a deployment to a harsh desert environment took place, where the implementation of rigorous training and operational protocols afforded personnel to adapt to the extreme conditions. By maintaining high levels of readiness and fostering a resilient team spirit, the mission was successfully completed, demonstrating exceptional adaptability and operational effectiveness in a challenging setting.

The role involved medical care in an austere environment with no additional support due to the nature of working under the sea for long periods of time. The role also included Atmospheric monitoring and Radiation protection/monitoring to enable the crew onboard were safe. Multiple deployments for extended periods of time.
