Responsible for growing the subscriber base, retention of current subscribers and overall business development of the company. A major goal of educating current and future clients of the marketing and growth potential available to them as partners with Construction Reporter and the value of that was achieved by changing the perception of Construction Reporter as merely a listing of projects to an interactive network of companies, all with something in common, from construction companies, architects, engineers and suppliers to owners and municipalities. Bringing these entities together created a great deal of synergy not otherwise achieved individually. My continuous interaction and focus on their commonalities helped them realize this greater potential and the increased value of their subscription with the company. During my time at Construction Reporter the subscriber base grew consistently, the awareness of Construction Reporter and our mission throughout the construction and related industries grew significantly and through the installation of new policies and procedures retention was up as well.

I held membership and attended meetings regularly at the Facility Manager Association of New Mexico, Apartment Association of New Mexico, CAI, and the Hispano Chamber, where I networked with a variety of individuals representing a broad scope of businesses. I called on business owners, property management companies, facility managers and other clients interested in pavement preservation and presented solutions designed to meet their needs.

Handled all aspects of the CES Job Order Contracting Award, set up data bases in Microsoft Access, met with school and local government representatives, attended pre-bid meetings, managed projects, estimated projects and oversaw bidding of some projects.

Mick Rich Contracting is a great company to work for. Mick is an honest straight shooting kind of man. I learned a great deal while working here. I managed construction of the Taos Community Auditorium taking it out of the ground through completion, working with the TCA, City of Taos, architects, engineers, sub-contractors and MSR employees. There were no injuries on the site in the year plus of construction. I also helped with contract awards for other projects, worked with submittals and did some marketing.

Residential and Commercial General ContractorI started off with additions, went to custom homes and ended up in commercial construction. Owning a construction company with as many as 45 employees and up to 20 projects going on at a time is a learning experience only those who have been there can appreciate. I will bring all this experience to future employers.
