I currently manage 2 products for the central government business unit here at NEC.• Blue Badge Customer Management System• HGV Levy Website (Foreign Operators Payments System)My role is to consult closely with our customers, canvassing opinion, defining their need and objectives to ensure our solutions meet/exceed their expectations.Developing, driving and executing the product strategy, managing the collaboration between all the key contributors in the process. My team currently consists of business analysts and a development and testing team. I manage their performance and the delivery of the products utilising “agile” methodology.Assisting the Pre-sales and Sales team with the production, review and management of bid responses, sales proposals, and quotations.My main aim is to ensure my team have the right information, training and motivation to ensure the product updates and enhancements are released on time, within customer specifications and on budget.I started my career with NEC as a Client Service Manager and tasked to product manage the “inhouse” CMS system (Perform). My remit was to update, enhance and develop the system with a small team of developers to run smother, create more accurate date and add financial functions.
