As the Employment Consultant it has given me the opportunity to expand on my previous skills of networking and Business Development. Being in the Public sector now as a Marketer and working with the Department of Human Services or otherwise known as Centrelink is a totally different environment coming from the Private Sector of HR and Recruitment. My role is to help gain suitable paid employment for my clients. My role is unique as finding employment for people with a disability is not as easy as looking for job opportunities on seek or other job search tools. As a disability provider our clients need employers that understands the disability of the clients and is also willing to support them with jobs that are usually tailor made for the client within the business so that both parties are aware of what the business needs are employment wise when investing in the clients skills and capabilities to perform tasks. It is a rewarding feeling when you can successfully place a client into the right workplace with employers that are willing to give someone a opportunity to get back into the workforce and showcase their capabilities and experience in a working environment.

It's always the best part of the year looking forward to playing rugby with my fellow Tongan brothers in the Kings and Queens Pacific Rugby (KQPR) tournament held in Brisbane Queensland. Queensland Tonga Rugby has been the power house team to beat since the competition started in 2012 and we haven't lost a game from day dot. We keep our motto simple but effect which is "Playing for your Toko (translated in English Brother) on your left and right and giving it your all".

As the Pathway Development Coach at Job Centre Australia my primary job was to meet clients and discuss there suitability for employment and there progression towards gaining paid employment or work experience.

As the Business Development Consultant my primary job was to bring in new business for the company. This position was a 3 month contract.

As the Recruitment Specialist at IPA I looked after all the Major companies with their permanent and temp recruitment needs. Some of my major portfolio clients were SHELL PETROLIUM AUSTRALIA, AUSTRALIA POST, AURIZON, STEAMATIC, SUNWATER, QLD GOVERNMENT just to name a few.
