BexleyCo Homes aims to invest in and deliver 1,200 homes in the London Borough of Bexley by 2032. It has eight initial sites bringing forward 600 quality new homes for Bexley residents over the next 5 years. This includes developments in Sidcup, Abbey Wood, Bexleyheath and Erith.As well as new homes for sale, our sites will provide much needed affordable rented and shared ownership homes, a new park in Sidcup, enhanced protection of the environment and public realm improvements.

Sutton Living is creating modern, well designed homes across the borough of Sutton. The new homes will be available for rent at market and sub market rates, and occasionally for sale. The company works in partnership with Sutton Council to progress investment opportunities in the area that genuinely benefit the Borough. I am the Finance lead on the company's Board.

Eastlight is a housing association in the East of England (c13,000 homes, £90m revenues) and is the largest community-led association in the country.As the executive lead for finance, treasury, risk, governance, strategy, and performance reporting, I guide a team of around 50 professionals and serve as the accountable officer for two key Group committees (Audit and Risk, Finance and Treasury).I am also a member of the National Housing Federation's Finance Policy Advisory Group, and I chair the East of England FDs group, comprising organisations who manage over 150,000 homes collectively.

Sovereign is one of the UK’s biggest housing associations (c60,000 homes, £400m revenues) operating across the South and Southwest.I was the Finance Director for Sovereign's £400m annual investment programme, aimed at delivering 20,000 new homes over 10 years. I served on three JV boards and chaired three Group subsidiaries.− Co-created an investment strategy balancing housing stock improvement and a net zero carbon plan with new housing delivery across varied methods and locations.− Helped establish and deliver successful joint ventures with major housebuilders for large-scale affordable and private home delivery (including sites up to 2,500 homes).− Led business planning and stress testing during Covid-19, enabling swift decision-making and operational resilience.− Secured credit ratings of A2 from S&P and A+ from Moody's during the pandemic.− Advised Board on M&A strategy and led evaluations of potential acquisitions and mergers.

Raven is a medium-sized housing association (c6,000 homes, £50m revenues) based in Redhill, Surrey.− Managed a team of 25, ensuring a smooth transition between permanent Finance Directors.− Executed a £105m refinancing plan securing full funding for a 5-year business plan, while reducing WACD and increasing loan flexibility.− Redesigned the Finance and Governance directorate for enhanced effectiveness.− Strengthened governance and data protection measures in accordance with GDPR and DPA 2018.

Hyde at the time was one of the largest housing associations in the UK, with >1,200 staff, >£300m revenues and >£3bn asset portfolio.I managed all aspects of corporate risk, governance, legal services, internal audit, procurement, communications, and facilities for a team of 45.− Redefined the Group’s risk appetite and redesigned the risk management framework.− Streamlined Board report templates.− Managed regulatory disclosures and emerging risk relations with the Regulator.

Led a team of 97, overseeing financial due diligence and business case development for a potential £10bn merger with London and Quadrant, and maintained top G1V1 rating following a Regulatory In Depth Assessment (IDA).− Restructured Finance team, achieving £600k annual savings.− Delivered clean year-end process.

As deputy to the Group FD, I merged two teams into one, saving approx. £150k per year.− Overhauled budgeting, forecasting, and management accounting processes.− Revamped reporting to provide high-quality insights.− Maintained top regulatory and credit ratings.

On a 12-month assignment, revitalised an underperforming team and developed new corporate strategy and annual plan.− Restructured and reinvigorated the department.− Streamlined business planning with budgeting and workforce planning.− Introduced a data-driven performance management framework.

Managed financial planning and development finance support, leading a team of 3 expert financial modellers.− Led all aspect of financial modelling and helped negotiate and deliver major investment projects and M&A deals.− Compiled financial analysis for Hyde’s £200m maiden bond issue in 2010, securing an Aa2 credit rating from Moody's.
