In 2007 I was hired as art director for Apple Bottoms brand and held that position for 4 years. I designed and developed apparel graphics, prints and worked on the marketing side designing advertising for print and web. During that time I also worked on Ecko Red and Sean John ladies for Icer Brands. After the decline of the ladies urban streetwear business Icer asked me to develop a juniors collection for their UNK NBA division (licensed NBA basketball apparel). We launched NBA for Her by UNK in 2011 with four teams and a handful of retailers. The line grew to over 12 teams and is now sold at Forever 21 and Wetseal to name a few. I also developed a men's collection of graphic tops for Rue 21. While working on the NBA license I also assisted in launching our Levi's junior division as well as our in house brand Brooklyn Cloth.

Pico Manufacturing is one of the oldest underwear and loungewear manufacturing companies in New York. We would design and produce for Hanes, Joe Boxer, JC Penny and Macy's to name a few. I was responsible for designing all over prints, plaids and placement graphics for tops. My responsibilities also included designing branding elements and packaging for all our products.

I was initially hired as a packaging designer for Planet Toys and worked on many different licensed products for brands like Harley Davidson, Warner Brothers, Discovery Channel and Little Tikes. We created mini remote control vehicles, inflatable pools and so on. After a few months I got the hang of actually designing toys and was responsible for working on West Coast Choppers remote control vehicles.

This was my first real experience working in a corporate environment. This job required me to crop out and photo retouch hundreds of images for catalogs and magazines. Products included pens, chandeliers, lamps and jewelry. This was the job that made me a pro at Photoshop.
