An entrepreneur at heart, Steve Mize launched GCF Valuation while getting two business degrees; Finance and Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management degree at Florida State University. He built GCF Valuation from the ground up, handling every aspect of the business, from delivering valuation services to managing day-to-day operations. At the age of 26, Steve became an Accredited Senior Appraiser. And today, nearly 25 years after starting the company, GCF has grown into the nations leading provider of SBA-compliant valuations. Over the years, Steve has accumulated broad experience in the valuation field, including fairness opinions, mergers and acquisitions, feasibility analysis, strategic planning, and providing expert witness testimony. Steve oversees over a hundred different valuation projects every month, optimizing the delivery process and client experience over time. He enjoys attending industry conferences, at the same time managing the company high-level decision making. Steve is married and has two children. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys skiing, snowboarding and fly fishing. A former college baseball player, Steve is the grandson of baseball Hall of Famer Johnny Mize.
