Leadership Overview and Progression- Recruited and hired to raise the bar in talent performance, initially overseeing Public Relations and a team of four direct reports. - Role progressed quickly based on demonstrated ability to drive new levels of team and functional performance.- Appointed to oversee Digital Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Industry Marketing, Events Marketing, Design & Creative Services, while continuing to drive global PR, analyst and government relations.- Promoted in 2014 to report directly to the CEO, with dedicated oversight of public, analyst and government relations.Executive Contributions & Impact- Led FICO through multiple major crises beginning in 2008, successfully defending the brand against severe attacks during the global economic downturn. - Created and executed campaigns that drove brand awareness, relevance and differentiation, increasing FICO's earned media prominence while that of competitors declined.- Coming out of the global economic crisis, led a multi-tiered corporate rebranding strategy involving a company name change, new visual identity, NYSE ticker symbol change, and market repositioning.- Member of M&A diligence team; led all internal/external communications surrounding 8 acquisitions, 5 divestitures and 5 reductions in force.- Combining thought-leadership and content marketing, successfully rebranded FICO as a leader in cloud-based analytics software as the company aggressively rebuilt and repositioned its entire B2B product portfolio to capitalize on this emerging market. - Built and strengthened relationships with top federal policy makers, consumer advocates and other stakeholders, differentiating the FICO brand and garnering competitive advantage.
