Infrastructure Systems Supervisor
CurrentAs an Infrastructure Support Team Supervisor at City of Arlington, I am responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Infrastructure Support Team while assuring compliance with all policies and procedures of the city, police department, and state. I am responsible for the department’s readiness and ability to provide high-quality and on-time support for assigned infrastructure support services including documenting, testing, validating, and training standard operating procedures for assigned Infrastructure Support Team responsibilities while accomplishing these and other critical functions: • Maintaining Infrastructure Systems budget of over $3 million• Procurement of Infrastructure Systems hardware and software solutions• Evaluation, recommendation, and procurement of technology to expand and optimize the city’s infrastructure systems• Supervising, developing, and coaching Infrastructure Support Team members in their professional development endeavors • Ensuring goals and objectives of the team are met; providing accurate and timely completion of assignments and responses to inquiries; ensuring that all tasks and duties are completed within the city’s set guidelines and policies • Working with Management in regard to hiring, training, counseling, evaluating, and disciplining team members; generating performance evaluations for departmental employees • Developing collaborative, interactive relationships with functional leads, supervisors, managers, and others within the city to identify appropriate tasks to be transitioned and supported by the Infrastructure Support Team; working with these leads to design standard operating procedures to effectively perform these tasks • Management of the flow of work through the Infrastructure Support Team, including coordinating the processing and distribution of all requests and clarifying such requests for team members.
