Permanent Distribution is a company based in California that offers foreign skateboarding brands to the United States market. My responsibilities are to prospect new shops to carry the brands, continue profitable and positive relationships with current accounts and influence their ordering to suit both parties in a profitable and successful manner. On the digital marketing and social media responsibilities of my position, my primary duties are to maintain interesting, relevant content that pushes brand excitement, awareness and sales for the website for Broadcast wheels, one of the brands under the distribution umbrella.

My position at Havertys Furniture is heavily focused on connecting with potential customers, identify all needs and discover any opportunity to drive furniture sales and create a long term customer. We focus heavily on building a relationship with customers that will result in a sale of a complete room or home full of furniture instead of one piece. Prospecting is a huge concentration of my position as we maintain a sales pipeline to introduce prospects to new merchandise that will suit their needs.

Responsibilities included team building, interviewing potential employees, merchandising the store to drive sales, maintaining daily store operations, marking down product, shipping and receiving product from other locations and working as part of a strong team of managers to maintain a successful and productive store.

Retail Sales Associate at the Skatepark of Tampa and the primary employee ofthe SPoT Skate Shop in Ybor City; an offshoot of the retail space at theSkatepark that served a more diverse clientele. In addition to the retail sellingenvironment, I assisted with merchandising the store to drive sales, inventorymanagement, data entry and internet-based media. Additional responsibilitiesincluded shooting photos, writing articles for the website and occasionally doinginterviews on behalf of the Skatepark with local media.
