Tech Venture Advisors provides M&A, capital-raising, and corporate development advisory services to companies in core sectors of focus: Software (SaaS, Enterprise, Consumer), Internet, and digital media. Tech Venture Advisors also acts as the exclusive U.S. affiliate to London-based Magister Advisors where it leads integrated project teams on selected European-based projects with high U.S. relevance.

Pioneered online marketplace platform enabling transactions of fine wine ($160+ average bottle price) directly between consumer/trade sources and customers (offering over 50,000 unique items for sale). Achieved a 124% CAGR in gross receipts from 2004-2008 (exceeding $20mm). Raised $14mm in equity financing in three rounds. Created Hong Kong operation and dedicated Chinese ecommerce site.

$250 million late stage venture capital fund targeted at companies in software, IT, and communications. Responsibilities included deal sourcing, investment analysis and decisionmaking, and serving on boards of portfolio companies. Promoted the idea of creating a fund within Broadview then defined and assembled all components (money, key staff, business processes).

Mergers and acquisitions advisers to private and public information technology companies. Completed over 100 M&A transactions or company investments, representing both buyers and sellers, on an international basis. Worked in New York until 1989, then opened and ran Broadview's London office for seven years (which reached a third of revenues and 50-60 people), before moving to San Francisco in 1996. Participated actively in firm-wide policy development, management, and strategic initiatives, including serving on the firm's Operating and Strategic committees and the Board of Directors. Key player in driving scalable business processes to develop a stronger business platform and to build Broadview's brand.

Performed analyses as a member of case teams for studies involving competitor assessments, brand strategy development, customer relationship management, manufacturing and purchasing cost reduction, and marketing program effectiveness.
