National Key Account Manager

Current
Interflon Uk Ltd

England And Wales

Responsible for developing national key accounts typically groups of companies throughout the UK with a cross over into Europe and the USA where required for international groups. This is a very client focussed role with emphasis on building professional relationships with a major bias to technical support. I enjoy the technical support side of my role very much and I find that this is what many companies are looking for these days. My clients demand more added value than simply selling a product to them. My role is multifaceted and is all consuming but is so rewarding when you are working with clients that want excellence and best practice in their production environment. When our relationship flourishes a great partnership is formed and a mutual benefit is created that both parties can profit from.

Originally employed as the Sales and Marketing Manager to increase the company's sales and to re-establish the marketing activity of the business. After a period of twelve months I was given the opportunity to move into a solely business development role managing national accounts throughout the UK. I am comfortable presenting to key personnel from group directors to branch managers. Tasks also included negotiating with national buying groups, co-ordinating stock installations to maximise range coverage. Motor factor and garage staff product training. Implementation of new product awareness campaigns by planning, organising and attending trade shows, conferences and exhibitions. Products comprised of an extensive range of high quality catalytic converters and front pipes, engine management sensors and switches, ignition modules, lambda sensors and electronic control units.Reason for leaving - Relocation to the North West for personal reasons was to take me out of my geographic area and was against company policy.
