Paradigm Testing provides comprehensive testing and psychometric services for educational assessments and professional certification/licensure. The company specializes in Online, and CBT Event Testing with Tablets, using an novel network of testing sites and customer point-of-service locations. Test administration is conducted by trained, on-site proctors.

Responsible for the development, administration and scoring of the CFP® Certification Examination, including ADA accommodations, test security, management of budgets, staff, vendors, and external consultants, and recruitment and management of volunteers. Served as liaison between CEO and Item-Writing Group (IWG), Technical Advisory Group (TAG), and Council on Examinations (COE). Prepared materials, presented to BOD, and directed RFP processes. Developed and managed budgets, and negotiated and managed vendor contracts, job-analysis studies, item-writing workshops, and test development and psychometrics, as well as NCCA accreditation applications and renewals.

Served as member of leadership team responsible for Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), providing input on full range of programmatic issues and leading technical issues related to Computer-Based Testing (CBT). Managed large item-bank conversion project, initiated auto publishing of test forms, implemented automated scoring of writing samples and digital biometric verification of candidates at testing sites. Conducted multiple-vendor pilot projects, RFP writing, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and vendor management. Responsible for the operational integration of six vendors in the delivery of the MCAT.Held responsibility for program development activities, including establishing new products and services from concept, to business plan, to implementation and management, including MCAT practice tests and other publications. Established and grew substantial online MCAT practice test business, and directed business operations. Orchestrated collaborative initiatives involving professionals from business development, graphic arts, IT, and publications.

Responsible for academic computing and evaluation services for medical school curriculum, including major computer hardware and software purchasing decisions, hiring and management of computer programmers and support staff, and the development of multiple software programs for Web-based curriculum. Served as member of basic science and clinical science curriculum reform committees, co-course director of the medical informatics block, and managed Problem-Based Learning (PBL) groups. In addition, served as member of the Baltimore-Washington consortium of six medical schools implementing use of standardized patients into medical school curriculum.

Conducted psychological and neuropsychological testing, and interviewed 100 schizophrenic patients and their family members for national research study on schizophrenia.
