As owner/operator of Ragmatic Audio, Steve has recorded, mixed and mastered audio for client projects including podcasts, films, music, multimedia art, documentaries, and commercial projects. • Engineered session in recording studio, assisted with Children’s Education Programs and installations in Media Gallery.• Developed, coordinated and instructed workshops in Basic Recording Techniques and Digital Audio.

• Studio Manager: Managed recording facilities, engineered sessions for audio art, radio, music, sound design, etc. Provided technical support for workshops, outreach programs and artists projects. May 1993 - September 1999.• Workshop Instructor and Developer: Developed, coordinated and instructed workshops in basic recording techniques, signal processing, sampling, sound for performance, digital audio and other topics. Participated in the integration of Digital Audio Workstation into studio and workshops curriculum.(1994-1999)• Freelance Recording Engineer: Engineered. produced and collaborated with numerous artists on variety of recording projects for audio art, radio, music, sound design and film. 1993-1999• Assistant Project Coordinator: Helped coordinate BONES, a CD release of local sound artists. Duties included curating artists, re-mastering chosen works of audio for preparation for master CD, design artwork for CD cover and booklet, generate promotional material for project, and produce event for CD release (www.expsoundstudio.org/bones)• Website Admin: Designed and maintained organization's website. In the Eye of the Ear was founded to promote local, national and international artists who use sound as a primary medium of expression. • Founded, co-produced, and co-curated three audio art festivals presenting over 30 artists• Authored grant proposals• Designed and administered promotional materials• Budget manager• Press liaison• Website designer and manager.
