I edited a publication that covered health media for an audience of PR professionals. It relaunched in late 2014 under new ownership after the original parent company ceased operations.

I wrote software reviews and feature articles for a trade publication read by graphic designers and other creative professionals. I focused on technology, but occasionally branched out to other topics. The publisher ceased operations in 2019.

I was the editor of Bulldog Reporter's Inside Health Media, a B-to-B publication for media relations professionals in health and medicine. Most of the content consisted of interviews with reporters, editors, freelance writers and other media pros. They discussed their work and their preferences for interacting with PR people. I also reported media news and wrote a weekly column for a sister publication, the Daily Dog. Aside from my editorial responsibilities, I performed much of the web development work for Inside Health Media. Infocom Group was an Oakland-based publishing company that ceased operations in Oct. 2014. Many of its assets were later acquired by MediaMiser (now Agility PR Solutions).

I edited the front-of-book news section and occasionally wrote reviews and feature articles. I also oversaw the reviews section for about a year. I spent my last year at the company as editor of MacWeek.com, an affiliated website that was closed during the dot-com crash.

I played a key role in launching two B-to-B publications focusing on computer graphics and publishing. The term at the time was "desktop publishing," when the idea of using desktop computers for print production was considered novel. I also wrote and edited books covering similar subject matter.
