A veteran of the agriculture industry, Steve Blalock serves as the general manager of Mid-State Seeds, LLC, in Marshall, MO, where he has worked for nearly three decades. A hands-on manager, Stephen Blalock attends to on-site matters daily and handles all functions, from negotiating contracts with major corporate partners to sweeping the floors in the company’s facilities. Over the course of his employment, he has won a number of recognitions, including Master Yield Estimator for the West Region in 2008 and the Outstanding Employment Opportunities award from the Center for Human Services in 2014. Prior to his work with Mid-State, Steve Blalock worked as a sales manager with Cargill, Inc.’s Nutrena Seed Division. Over the course of 10 years, he gained entry into the company’s Presidents Club three times.Recreationally, Stephen Blalock spends time at his home in the Ozark Mountains of MO, where he enjoys boating and fishing.
