Over the past 35 years Steve Bothe has gained the national reputation as the go-to-guy for intuitive marketing and creative graphic design. Since winning his first national advertising award in 1980, he has continually been on the cutting edge in his field; accumulating over 115 national awards in advertising, design and packaging. He was named as one of the top 10 graphic designers in the country in 2000, and is often used as a source for various trade publications.Steve founded Landmark Publishing, Inc in 1984, to fulfill a dream he had of publishing a new, home and garden magazine (titled "Wisconsin Home Gallery Magazine") and to produce creative marketing tools for various companies across the country. The magazine grew to a paid circulation of over 50,000 and satisfied Steve's personal love of architecture and construction. He became very active in the Milwaukee Builders Association and the Milwaukee NARI Home Improvement Council, on which he served as president for 2 years and chaired the PR, show, foundation, and other committees and served on the NARI national board.In 1998 Steve was approached to sell the magazine, and decided to, allowing him more time to focus on marketing, graphic design and newly added services of packaging design and web design. The "new" Landmark Publishing gave Steve the opportunity to create national trade show booths, props for movies, merchandise for Vegas hotels, projects for international singers and rock bands, and design packaging for hundreds of everyday products.But Landmark Publishing hasn't lost sight of its roots, it also services many small businesses, as Steve says, "These are still our bread and butter accounts, and we treat every customer the same, no matter if they're spending five hundred dollars or five hundred thousand dollars.
