Managing a regional European team supporting large, complex multi-national opportunities. Tasks are diverse and comprises of leading / supporting negotiations and managing the commercial relationship with customers, formulating the full range of agreements with customers and key project suppliers, providing commercial advice and support, and liaising closely with legal, finance and other stakeholders.

The years spent with the Dimension Data Corporate Finance team exposed me to numerous high-profile acquisitions, which helped accelerate the Dimension Data Group’s aggressive expansionary growth strategy. Working alongside the Group’s Executive team, as well as that of NTT, during this time provided me insight into strategic decision making, and the credentials required to become an exceptional leader. Utilising the multitude of resources, internal and external, remote and local, enabling the successfully conclusion of the various acquisitions taught me a great deal in effective teamwork, and project coordination. My skills in deal valuation, financial modelling and understanding the impact of risk on deal constructs were a significant enabler during this time.

 Assisting the Group Risk Manager and Group CFO in providing assurance to the Plc board that the Group has sound and robust internal control systems.  Assisting in managing the scope, timetable and coverage of Dimension Data’s Internal Audit program. Assisting in driving the mitigation and implementation of control recommendations arising out of the internal audit reviews, by providing hands on assistance to various operations around the group.  Responsible for continuing and enhancing the Group wide Control Self-Assessment program. Responsible for performing a number of on-site Control Self-Assessment verification reviews across the Group during each financial year. Assisting with ad-hoc internal and forensic audit review’s that may be required outside of the planned Internal Audit timetable.

 Primary focus within PwC involved internal audit, business process review and risk management related projects, with specific Financial Services and Telecoms industry focus.  Involvement in a wide range of industries and challenges.
