This stack was configured to use Cisco stack power technology to lower the overall power consumption• Upgraded Fortigate 60c firewall to a Fortigate 100D. This upgrade was pivotal to resolve network congestion caused by company growth.• Rebuilt DR network with Citrix Xenserver 6.5 cluster consisting of 3 hosts connected to a home grown SAN solution built on Ubuntu 14.04 using SCST for iSCSI connectivity. Prior to this project, the DR network was not capable of managing a production fail over. Once complete, the DR network outperformed the existing production network• Upgraded VMWare 4.1 environment to 5.5. License was downgraded to accommodate Proliant servers that were not supported on vSphere 6• Replaced single SonicWall Wireless Access Point with FortiAP units connected to Fortigate 100D to take advantage of the built in, wireless controller. This provided wireless saturation for the entire office.• Implemented Radius for wireless authentication to the corporate SSID eliminating the need to remember monthly passwords• Added ‘Guest’ SSID to the corporate wireless with access to Internet only. This configuration kept ClosingCorp in compliance with the network security requirements placed on the company by their financial partners and banking clients
