A little something about myself:Hi, my name is Steve Bethlenfalvay; thank you for visiting my LinkedIn profile. I am seeking a career in solar photovoltaics, and am interested in positions ranging from PV Installer to CAD Drafter and System Designer to Project Manager. If your organization is in need of someone to fill such a position, please read on.For ten years I lived in Las Vegas working for the gaming industry at IGT Systems. In my capacity as Project Administrator I was responsible for the survey and audit of literally thousands of slot machines across casino floors from California to Australia. My job was to identify required hardware and assess slot machine functionality in advance of installation of IGT's sophisticated casino operations/player tracking system.For several years prior to my transfer to Las Vegas, I worked for a small technology start-up in Oregon called Acres Gaming. Acres had a fast-paced 'figure it out & get it done' environment that rewarded individual initiative; it was intense but stimulating, fostering tremendous employee commitment and loyalty. I thrived at Acres Gaming for seven great years, and I was devastated when it was acquired by IGT (a large corporate entity) in late 2003. I continued for several years at IGT Systems, but my heart was no longer in it; I needed to make a change. Now I am living in California on the Central Coast, and have chosen to embark on a new career in solar photovoltaics. To that end I have gotten training as a PV Technician, as well as participating in all aspects of a major (6.2kW) residential solar electric installation, with arrays on three separate roof segments wired to two grid-tied inverters.To be involved in photovoltaics, in any capacity, is my goal; doing work that I can be passionate about every day, and proud of for the rest of my life.If you are seeking a capable and committed individual, then I am your guy - I look forward to hearing from you!Specialties: Assembly & configuration of computer hardware & operating systems (PC), Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD 2D/3D drafting & solid modeling, project administration.
