Brief was to manage the contract, improving performance and service delivery to meet the contractual obligations and KPIs. Role involved complex internal stakeholder management between the the account team and delivery teams, Improving current processes and procedures to reduce and complete the contract backlog of works to stabilise the contract. Contract KPIs were met within 4 months with the January KPI performance the best the contract had reported since commencement. Since January the contract consistently achieved all PPM and reactive KPIs with the backlog of work orders considerably reduced to a sustainable and manageable level with 100% Statutory compliance on the contract.

January 2018 - July 2018 - Working with the official liquidators PwC and the Special Managers in the demobilisation and transfer of FM contracts to new service providers. Contracts transferred with PwC included: Met Police South East London, Met Police Gravesend facility, Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue Service, East Anglia & Humberside Courts, North East Fire & Rescue, Greater Manchester Police, Nomura and the regional Scottish contracts with the Scottish Government. From March to June 2018 I worked in Belfast with PwC on the sale of the Carillion business in Northern Ireland to ENGIE and the recovery of circa £8m of WIP on the Northern Ireland Housing Executive contract. Projects previously completed at Carillion include: - Centrica Plc – Large, national, fully integrated FM services contract implementation programme. Contract value circa £120M, 131 locations across UK & Ireland. Staged implementation of Hard, Soft and catering services with circa 470 TUPE transfers. Implementation period 12 weeks, Transition period 12 weeks (to new Target Operating Model). Designed, developed and implemented new Target Operating Model.- Northern Ireland Housing Executive – Building Maintenance NEC 3 contract for social housing in 4 regions around Belfast. MTC schedule of rates contract with specific contractual requirements around site access, attendance, auditing and billing with complex KPI’s and SLA’s.- Ireland Schools PPP Bundle 5 – PPP contract for 6 schools across southern Ireland, Implementation programme for the FM hard and soft services. Implementation programme included site and school engagement, commissioning & testing phases and full FM service delivery.- Hestia North – MOD contract for Soft FM services for the North region as part of the Hestia contract which was the largest soft services tender in the UK to date. Lead the Mobilisation team for the North region reporting into the Mobilisation Director and Managing Director of the JV with Aramark.

Head of Mobilisation for the facilities services operating unit of Skanska UK.Projects completed at Skanska Facilities Services:  Somerset County Council - Hard FM services contract – Led the Mobilisation of Hard FM services across 500 sites, ranging from council offices, libraries and children’s centres to schools and farms. It includes mechanical and electrical works, general building maintenance and repairs and minor projects. Kent County Council - Transformation project, Led and managed the contract remobilisation and transformation programme to include a deep dive audit and the establishment of a corrective action plan. Project objective was to realign the contract, staff and financial position to achieve consistent operational delivery standards and meet target financial operating margins.  Kent County Council - Schools project, Mobilisation of Hard FM services volume change on Skanska’s existing KCC contract consisting of Hard FM service provision to 207 schools. Services included planned and reactive maintenance, additional works and project support. Value £900kpa. Mobilisation Strategy – Review and development of Skanska FS mobilisation process, procedures, documentation and historic performance. Creation and development of a “Best in Class” mobilisation strategy and approach using proven project management processes based on the PRINCE2 methodology. Establish governed, consistent methods, documents and business tools to achieve consistent performance, quality of process and delivery in the mobilisation of every new contract. New mobilisation “Toolkit” created and implemented alongside a new FS Mobilisation policy, procedure and workflow.

Managing all aspects of the Dalkia Prime contract for Parkersell which involved the programming and completion of 5 year periodic electrical inspection and testing together with associated remedial works on all DWP, Benefit Agency and Job Centre Plus Buildings throughout the South of the country.
