Steve is one of the most respected studio executives in the industry and has strong relationships with both exhibition and distribution. His extensive knowledge of the theatrical landscape in the U.S. as well as Latin America has given him a unique perspective in providing a global overview.Steve launched Steve Bunnell Entertainment 4 years ago, which focuses on film programming, global distribution and marketing. Currently, he is working closely with Briarcliff Entertainment, as Head of Distribution where he determines the theatrical release dates, creates distribution plans and set the sales policies for all wide releases and their affiliate partnerships.Most recently, Steve was the CEO of Iconic Events Releasing and oversaw content distribution into theatres across the country from numerous agencies and Studios. Prior to Iconic, Steve was Vice President of Film Content Buying Licensing at the Alamo Drafthouse and was responsible for all booking decisions. Steve’s prior exhibition and distribution experience includes Regal Entertainment Group (SVP/Chief Content Officer), Universal Pictures (EVP/General Sales Manager), Cinemark (EVP Global Content Programming), and Loews Cineplex (SVP Film). Steve is currently President, Variety Children’s Charity of Southern California.
