As a director at Black, I am responsible for guiding the work of our designers across all projects, ensuring that the potential for each scheme is optimised for our clients and our quality targets achieved.Sustainable design is at the core of the practice, evolving since Black were formed as we continue to learn and test new ideas. Our work is crosses a range of sectors, from retail to residential and is delivered for clients in the private, public and third sectors.Over the course of my career, I have been responsible for the Stirling Prize shortlisted Sainsbury’s Supermarket at Greenwich and The Zetter Hotel in Clerkenwell.
