Recruited by the CEO and served in a variety of leadership roles on the Executive Team with this leading global provider of software & data analytics (SaaS) supporting the real estate industry. My responsibility was to increase organizational effectiveness, reallocate expenses to better align with corporate priorities, and drive revenue growth (both organic and accretive through acquisition) to dramatically increase profitability. This created a culture of results & accountability with an outstanding workplace for high achievers. Increasing our overall efficiency through organizational and cultural improvements reduced our annual labor expenses by $150M+. Also led effort that reduced our annual real estate & related expenses by $50M+, while we grew annual revenue by over 20%. These improved financials resulted in our acquisition by Thoma Bravo (Private Equity) for $10B in 2021. RealPage was formerly NASDAQ listed under RP and remains a leading software and services provider to the real estate industry while also being named to the top fifty most admired large employers in the U.S. by Forbes magazine & SHRM.

HARMAN International (JBL, Harman Kardon, DBX, etc.) acquired AMX for and then Samsung ($250B+) acquired Harman. Asked to remain to perform multiple leadership roles after each acquisition. Performed multiple roles in parallel while leading key projects: (a) Created & implemented a strategy to significantly increase organizational efficiency across all functions within the HARMAN division including the successful consolidation of over 200 global offices and teams into regional centers for significantly increased efficiency leveraging "best cost" global locations across the globe tailored for each business requirement creating "centers of excellence", (b) restructured the sales organization (B2B & B2C) into a more efficient, profitable, and customer focused global sales team with end-user direct selling solutions into target vertical markets from a channel of independent sales representatives, distributors, & dealers, and (c) increased global production efficiency & capacity (e.g. opening, closing, or building over global 40 sites 12M+ SF on time/within budget).

Recruited by the Board as a Corporate Officer and key member of the Executive Team to lead the turn-around of AMX , to become a highly respected, industry leading, global hardware and software technology company with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Member of three person Leadership Team that took AMX from a stock valuation of $1 to over $23 in 30 months (growing revenue by 20%+ annually plus increasing EBITDA each year). Acquired by Private Equity and asked to remain to lead continued growth. Revenue and profits grew by double digits annually with a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability. Corporate-wide leadership responsibilities included human resources, organizational strategy, risk management, facilities, security, real estate, ethics, information technology, and communications. In addition, performed as CTO and COO during critical periods to effectively lead R&D and Operations along with significant ongoing customer interaction. Successfully completed eleven U.S. & International acquisitions and integrations. AMX has been a public traded (NASDAQ), a privately held corporation, a venture capital investment, and a private equity investment with each ownership change for a significantly higher valuation.
