Led the Global implementation of this project, the aim of which was to deliver a Strategic Dashboard of performance measures to leaders throughout the business. Devised the entire Business Change approach and training programme and then delivered it, visiting most BG Group assets.

Held a number of delivery focused roles within the Global IT department and has delivered many document management projects successfully, spend 9 months in Mumbai, and subsequent worked in Trinidad & Houston. Benefited from visits to most of the main BG Group assets around the world and so has a good understanding of the operational imperatives in BG Group Assets.

Designed and built a complex and very detailed financial model for the construction of the Club’s new stadium. The Amex Community Stadium opened in Summer 2011 and is so successful that BHFC are now well established in the Premiership.

Steve was the architect of a major transformation programme – “Shaping Future Services”. This programme aimed to put customers (the citizens of Bolton) at the heart of everything the Council (and its strategic partners) does, whilst successfully addressing a range of external drivers including the Children’s Act and the Gershon efficiency agenda. This was a large and complex transformation programme and was seen as the single most significant change in the Council for 30 years. Steve’s role was senior management team facilitator, programme manager and solution architect.

Led a major Data Management Programme during 2001. The objective was to clean up static data prior to implementation of major new supply information systems for all three Services. As programme manager Steve researched and designed innovative approaches, using “fuzzy matching” techniques, and planned, co-ordinated and managed the activities of 30 or more staff spread across all three Service environments and other stakeholder groups. Helped to establish “the Cleansing Project” team that went on to succeed in meeting all its objectives, saving over £15m in the process.
