After months of his reporting, Wal-Mart changed its policy and now sends that food to charitable organizations in need.His Emmy-award winning series "Captive Victims" uncovered the rampant problem of staff-on-inmate sexual assault at the Illinois Department of Corrections. In 2007, Illinois implemented procedures to ensure these crimes were accurately reported to the public.In 2004, Steve received national acclaim for a ground-breaking series that exposed law enforcement's inability to combat internet predators -- adults who try to sexually assault minors after seducing them in Internet chat rooms. After his reports, Kansas City became home to a regional computer forensic crime lab and numerous on-line policing efforts.Steve graduated from Milwaukee's Marquette University.
