Growing up, he watched his father save lives as a firefighter and felt that he could help others by preserving and enhancing their wealth, which in turn would help his clients protect those they hold most dear. A veteran of the wealth management industry, Steve believes in listening closely to each client; and being authentic and straightforward in his communication. As a result of his premier certifications and nearly three decades of experience, he is able to clarify complex financial concepts for his clients and provide them with a clear understanding of the global capital markets and sophisticated financial instruments. His clients find this education valuable while collaborating with him to plan their long-term financial goals. Known for his friendliness and professionalism, Steve develops trusting relationships with his clients by being accountable and responsive. Over the years, he has built meaningful, family-like relationships by being thoughtful and accessible.Among Steve’s numerous roles in the group, he is responsible for portfolio management. As a Certified Financial Planner® Steve is credentialed to analyze stocks and bonds; and manage personal and institutional investment portfolios on a discretionary basis. Specialized training as an Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor® enables him to deliver in-depth knowledge to his clients regarding wealth transfers, federal taxation, and planning for financial and medical end-of-life needs for domestic partners. Steve is also a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist®, the nation’s leading credential for designing, installing and maintaining company retirement plans.
