Manager (Configuration, Release, And Change Management Teams)
Responsible for support and implementation of DevOps tools for continuous builds, testing and release management. Develop and maintain build and release infrastructure tools to improve the efficiency of the build/release/deployment process and assess release/operation risks.Continuous Integration and Delivery:* Establish and implement source code branch and merge process that enables teams to support multiple releases, bug fixes and prototypes.* Setup continuous integration using Ant and Jenkins to help developers regularly build, integrate, test and package their software.* Provision and ensure build servers maintain proper infrastructure settings, libraries, compiler versions using Ansible and Puppet.* Create delivery pipelines using Perl and Python to automate deployment to target environments.* Work and communicate effectively as a team to streamline software development lifecycle (SDLC), mitigate risks so projects are completed and deployed with minimum defects.* Orchestrate our release plans and deployments in collaboration with business, development, QA and operations teams to ensure we balance demand, process and cost and provide traceability throughout all stages of build and delivery pipeline.* Effectively communicate up to date status on projects, risks and deployment schedule to business, development, QA, operations teams and stakeholders.* Plan and coordinate project roll-outs and implementation in production.Operations Monitoring and Change Management:*Actively monitor application performance and operations change reports to identify potential system risks and improvements.*Participate in production incidents in identifying system issues and provide work around if immediate resolution is not available.*Improve incident communication between business, vendors and project teams by implementing work item workflow management and role based configuration item access control.
