We serve as advisors to, and as a board member of this real estate investment company. We also work closely with its affiliated 501c3 corporation, which provides music and educational programs to children and young adults in the Algiers area of New Orleans.

Assisted the founders with the organization and startup of a Minority Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business engineering and construction contractor to federal, state and municipal agencies.

We transitioned out of our active role with the family trust in June 2023.

As Advisors to the Chief Executive, we were engaged in an M&A/recapitalization program for the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Dr. Murphy's.

We helped transform a raw startup to a compliant, well-packaged and documented, operating business. During our tenure, the company raised startup capital and closed a high profile technology trial with a cannabis industry leader.

A comprehensive engagement that included serving as Chairman, we lead this company’s transition from legacy cannabis entrepreneur to a regulated, vertically-integrated company. In one year, ESH acquired controlling equity positions in seven permit-pending dispensaries, acquired the rights to a multi-permitted property, negotiated the acquisition of a licensed extraction manufacturing company and initiated the rollup of each of its subsidiaries. We raised all of the capital for these ventures and structured and negotiated each transaction.

Assumed control of Kanani's Compassionate Cooperative, a medical cannabis cultivator. Packaged its assets with property and sold the operation to a private investment group in 2018.

Tandem Ventures provided advisory services and startup capital to high potential, early stage companies. It was the surviving entity after a combination with South Bay Financial, which itself was a spinoff from the venture incubator CorpHQ Inc. founded in 1999.

Was the principal investor to NanotechPX, Inc. the worldwide licensee for the biophotonix technology developed by Music Research Technology Inc. of Vista, CA.

Was the principal investor to Kickstand Global, a producer of artisan quality coffee and tea concentrates.

Was the startup investor to i-Mobilize, which has grown to become one of the ten largest developers of software for the iPhone and Android mobile platforms.

South Bay Financial was the corporate spinoff from CorpHQ Inc., after the public vehicle was divested by the shareholders.
