My role at the DMZ is to help startups succeed. I do this by providing guidance, support, sharing knowledge and experience with new ecommerce, sports, retail, and marketplace tech startups. The DMZ at Ryerson University is one of Canada’s largest business incubators for emerging tech startups. Since 2010, more than 230 startups have incubated at the DMZ. They’ve raised $140 million in seed funding and have fostered the creation of more than 2,090 jobs.
