Responsible for all activities in an apparel distribution warehouse including import receiving, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping both domestic and export. In my time here, we have implemented Blue Cherry ERP system and successfully moved/consolidated 3 warehouses into a single distribution center.

Manage all aspects of a pick and pack warehouse operation which utilizes voice pick and sortation systems. During this time, I have been involved in the successful consolidation of warehouse operations and the transition from a traditional paper driven picking system to a voice enabled picking system. Since October 2006, I have been involved in the implementation of SAP software in our Finance, Sales, and Procurement areas and the implementation of High Jump's Warehouse Advantage product in our warehouse.Highlights:Selected by Vice President of Global Logistics at Navarre Corporation to play a key role on SAP Implementation project. Conducted systems testing and designed training for Operations Group, participated in multi-phases implementation and led testing portion of Warehouse Advantage implementation.Instrumental in successful on-boarding of Third Party Logistics clients at Navarre. Team designed customized processes for distribution of clients’ inventories and return procedures.

Transportation Manager (2003-2004)- Deconsolidation- Responsible for the breakdown and distribution of containerized import freight at two West Coast facilities. Duties included monitoring shipments into these facilities, prioritizing distribution, and measuring the facility performance.DC Operations Manager (2002-2003)- Oversaw all outbound departments consisting on 9 supervisors and 200 employees. During this time, we increased efficiency in my departments resulting in the best year ever for the area, introduced a consistancy program to all management, and acted as the facility representative on both the Safety and Ergonomics teams and help the facility reduce accidents and claims by over 30 percent.Production Planner (2000-2002)- Created all planning tools and reports needed to move employees between departments to best utilize all available manpower.Warehouse Supervisor (1997-2000)- Provided daily direction to 20+ employees in areas including shipping, order processing, product sortation, reserve and primary stocking.Highlights:As a Production Planner at Best Buy, designed and implemented productivity planning tools for Best Buy Warehouse with the goal of better utilization of manpower. Efforts resulted in efficient movement of resources throughout seven departments.Promoted by Best Buy as Operations Manager; oversaw all outbound functions and leading a team of eight Supervisors, a Production Planner and 200 warehouse employees.Increased department efficiency; successfully introduced a Consistency Program across all areas of the warehouse facility and representatives.Acted as Facility Representative on Safety and Ergonomics teams, resulting in a 30% reduction of accidents and claims in the facility.
