For over over 30 years I’ve been a Systems Engineering and Program Management leader building some of the most complex and precise systems in the world. In that time I have led systems development in a wide variety of technologies including information technology and networks, Information Assurance, RF communications, Radar systems, and Command and Control. I've been fortunate to have served a diverse customer set including the US DoD and DHS as well as the navies of Spain, Norway, and Japan.Prior to all that I studied Electrical Engineering at Rutgers University where I concentrated on communications and Digital Signal Processing and received a BS in Electrical Engineering. I received a MS in Management of Technology from the University of Pennsylvania through a joint program of Penn the Wharton School and Penn Engineering. This degree program was focused on the strategic leadership of businesses specifically in the technology sectors and included extensive coursework in strategy development, including managing R&D and product development strategies, marketing, financial management, intellectual property, emerging technologies and other areas. On a personal level, I'm fascinated by the art and science of creative thinking. I try to never settle for the first answer that occurs to me for any given problem, it’s the second or the third where the creativity comes into play.Current favorite quote:"Opportunity is missed by most because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work."
