Steve is an experienced educationalist. His career has included 11 years in teaching and 19 years in education consultancy and inspection. He combines an understanding of both private and public sectors, having held senior positions in both including joint head of school improvement for Surrey CC and director for business development for VT Four S. More recently Steve has had a leading role in the development of VT's approach to Building Schools for the Future (BSF), leading successful bids.Steve has a particular interest in blending the best commercial practices with the values and principles of the public sector.
