-Product Certifications – making sure certification is ready for production, dealing with safety inspectors, updating reports, also in-country testing for China, Japan, Australia.-Existing technicians could not figure out a new selective wave soldering machine so I volunteered to take over and it is now meeting production needs.-Maintaining ICT fixtures including board revisions which has resulted in praise from the Operators who say it has never worked better since it was purchased many years ago.-Building jigs and have been complimented for clear documentation.-Root Cause Failure analysis.-Acknowledged for providing the most manufacturing improvements.-Built a reputation for problem solving.-Have received many compliments from colleagues.

-Acknowledged numerous times for clear accurate technical documentation and reports.-Was the preferred person to solve problems due to my track record of getting things done with minimal instruction and supervision.-Complimented for clear concise training.-Requested by engineering for help with prototyping, programming and new product development.-Received positive feedback for my supporting roles to other departments.-Involved in root cause of production and field failures.-Identified a serious bottleneck in production, submitted a proposal which was approved and was able to implement a solution in time for manufacturing commitments to be met.-Reduced cleaning times of a key assembly from as much as 5 days to 1 day through collaboration with production.-Coached colleagues in circuit analysis, programming etc..-Design of the PID control loops for temperature and flow devices.-Instead of costly fume hoods, successfully proposed a firmware modification with the added benefit of mobility.-Developed an improved IMS bake-out bed with greater capacity, reliability, reduced floor space at a fraction of the cost of the old beds it replaced with excellent operator acceptance.-Using existing parts developed an atmospheric chamber that simulates a plane in flight to ensure Verific Pens would not leak while being shipped to the customer. In addition engineering realized this was invaluable and subsequently utilized it for new product development.-Participated in cost reduction of Ionscan 500DT which exceeded target of £390.00 for Jan. 31, 2014.

-Designed and built two spiking machines which improved both the quality and quantity of verification token manufacturing. In addition to increased production output, the QC requirements were also reduced due to the consistency achieved.-Initiated a standard jig platform which resulted in $9,000.00 savings for all new jig developments for the last nine years with the added benefit of user familiarity.-Participated in product development and quality improvements, to improve First Time Through (FTT).-Asked to review and report on a prototype of the hardened Ionscan 500DT which provides simultaneous explosives and narcotics trace detection.
