I am a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the aerospace, aviation, and IT & telecommunications industries. Throughout my career, I have held various technical and management positions in these industries.My experience includes managing highly qualified staff in the aerospace engineering environment, managing an aircraft maintenance organization, managing an airline operational environment, and managing ICT in an airline. I have also managed the complex solution sales and relationship management to airline customers in sub-Saharan Africa within a global, multi-cultural organization.My achievements include successfully managing high technology aerospace programs, growing a successful aircraft maintenance organization, and implementing the ICT environment for the first low-cost airline in South Africa. Additionally, I have delivered sales targets with my sales team, ensured business retention, negotiated major contracts, and built a substantial network in the industry.As a self-motivated professional and team player, I possess excellent communication skills at all levels within customers, partners, and suppliers in a multi-cultural environment.I joined Sabre Airline Solutions in April 2012 as Solutions Partner for sales in sub-Sahara Africa & the Indian Ocean islands, and continued to leverage my industry knowledge and experience, strategic planning, sales planning, structuring & management, relationship management, contract negotiations, team building & leading, and P & L management skills. I held the position of Director Sales in the sub-Sahara Africa region - part of EMEA until I left in March 2023.
